Obama Dream
The picturesque landscapes of Mason Archie capture the serene, luminous quality of nature at the edges of daylight. His bust pushes this ephemeral mood into the realm of dream. Using President Obama as a canvas, Archie depicts one man dreaming while the President himself fulfills that dream.
A contemporary oil painter who paints in both traditional and realistic styles, the art of Mason Archie is exhibited in museums and collections throughout the country.
Born in Dayton, Ohio, Archie’s early art experience came while working as the Art Director and pictorial artist for Lamar Outdoor Advertising.
Mason is a member of the Hoosier Salon Patrons Association and Fine Arts Gallery, National Conference of Artists, African American Visual Artist Guild, and Dayton Visual Artist Group.
